This is a relaxed, informal phone call. We'll briefly talk about what's bringing you to therapy and whether working together feels like a good fit. There's absolutely no obligation to continue from here. ​​

Agreeing how we'll work together
If we decide to go ahead, we'll agree a way of working that suits you. Sessions are usually weekly, 50-minute online appointments (in EMDR they can sometimes be 90 minutes), though this can be reviewed as therapy progresses. I'll explain what therapy may involve and make sure you feel clear and comfortable before we begin.​
​​​3. Starting therapy
Therapy is collaborative and tailored to you. We'll work together to understand what's been difficult, set a focus for our work, and develop approaches that feel manageable and helpful. The work can be adjusted over time, depending on what you need and how things are going. ​​​
Together, we will aim to help you move back towards what matters most.
